Sustain Recovery provides an Extended Care setting for residents that is gender specific, structured, and nurturing. When residents initially enter the program, they are also enrolled in our off-site Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Program (PHP/IOP) depending on their level of care upon admission, where an individual counselor, and individual therapist will help them adjust to Sustain Recovery. The counselor and therapist will continue to guide the residents through processing their underlying causes and conditions behind their substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders that led to their maladaptive behaviors.
The guidance of each individual resident differs based upon the client’s arrival to the program. In addition, all clinical recommendations made by primary addiction treatment programs contained in Continuing Care Plans will be facilitated. Sustain Recovery will follow-up with referring primary addiction treatment programs with updates and will encourage clients to stay in touch whenever possible.
Transportation and 24/7 supervision will be provided for clients at meetings, school/IOP and alumni groups and all recovery related events. Our home is located in a community where the young people’s recovery is thriving.
While our day treatment is covered by most out of network insurance, the housing fees, food, supplies, and transportation will be included in the monthly transitional living fee along with rent and utilities. All additional groceries, supplies, clothing, and sundries will be the responsibility of the client and/or his family.
Drug testing will be done at the residence on a random, as needed basis with discretion of the Sustain Recovery staff and will be billed to private insurance.
