Pam has extensive experience working with youth, adults and families who struggle with mental health issues, substance dependency and eating disorders. For over 25 years Pam has been a leader and a top-performing manager credited with combining implementation, oversight, and program development expertise to deliver substantial services in the substance recovery market.  Pam’s skills are extensive and include: organization, communication, leadership, operations delivery maintenance, policy network development, record maintenance, and staff training. Pam handles all aspects of licensing and administration Sustain Recovery’s Residential programs in California through the Department of Social Services; Community Care Licensing, and Sustain Recovery’s Outpatient program in California through the Department of Health Care Services, as well as accreditation and oversight. Pam brings a significant amount of experience working with youth and families and shares a deep commitment and passion to helping others find their road to recovery.

    Gusto Sollas has an extensive background helping adolescent and adult clients in the chemical dependency field for over twenty-five years. Gusto extensive experience in the field of addiction allows him to be an empathetic and effective leader when it comes to practicing sobriety and teaching others how to maintain as well as sustain a sober life. Gusto has worked in adolescent probation as well as out-patient counseling and believes that the in-patient approach is the most effective way for an adolescent to achieve the necessary emotional displacements and rearrangements needed to gain new ideas, emotions and attitudes which are essential at sustaining recovery.  All who know Gusto find him to be extraordinarily passionate about his work, to have a wonderful sense of humor and to enjoy a good meal and walks on the beach.

      Dr. Yvonne McSkimming is a top-performing executive with over 35 years experience in the social service industry. Yvonne has been credited with combining implementation, oversight and business development expertise constructing programming, recognized as exceptional in the highly competitive social service market. With a PhD in Social Science (focused on social media, addiction and mental health for youth) and a Master’s degree in Leadership / Psychology, Yvonne blends her diverse skill set to provide strong expertise in clinical counseling, group/seminar work, collaborative planning, strategic / risk management, policy / program development, outcome / evaluation management, staff recruitment / retention, network development and quality improvement. Dr. McSkimming has been nominated for a Women of Distinction Award and been awarded a Women in Spotlight Award for her contribution to the social service industry. Dr. McSkimming is working with Sustain Recovery as the Chief Clinical Officer providing direction and support for all therapeutic / clinical services.

        Stephanie Lambrecht

        Stephanie Lambrecht is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton where she earned her BA in Human Services.  Stephanie was an executive in the restaurant industry and decided to make a career change to follow her dream of working with adolescents that struggle with alcohol and drug addiction.  Stephanie has worked at Sustain Recovery as a recovery coach and recovery counselor for over 4 years.

          Cecilia Pla, LMFT

          Cecilia Pla is a licensed marriage and family therapist that has been providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and families since 2007. Cecilia gained her education in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Azusa Pacific University. Cecilia began her career working with foster youth providing oversight in foster homes and case management services.

          Cecilia began gaining clinical experience in 2008 working with children and families providing in home and school based mental health services. During this time Cecilia became certified in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and managing and adapting practice (MAP) evidenced based practices. Cecilia has experience providing individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and their families. Cecilia has experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideation, substance abuse and children with developmental/cognitive challenges.

          Cecilia has experience in various level of care from outpatient, intensive outpatient, and residential services. Since 2017, Cecilia began providing clinical supervision to trainee and associate level therapists. Cecilia has experience providing clinical trainings to clinical staff and consultation with multidisciplinary treatment teams.

          Cecilia takes a strength-based approach in her work with the clients that she serves. Cecilia focuses on building upon those strengths to assist in alleviating stressors and symptoms that are causing impairments. Cecilia believes in creating safety in the therapeutic relationship using unconditional positive regard.

            Brian Goldstein

            My name is Brian Goldstein and I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#115778) I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chapman University in Orange, CA and completed my Master of the Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with and emphasis in marriage and family therapy at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. I am interested in many aspects of the psychology field including clinical practice and research. My graduate research primarily focused on the investigation the impact of trauma on borderline personality disorder. Prior to my position at Mainstay Recovery, I completed my graduate training at Airport Marina Counseling Services in Los Angeles, CA, where I worked with a wide range of clients in a community mental health setting. After this, I worked as a Primary Therapist at Mainstay Recovery, which is an OP/IOP chemical dependence treatment facility in Costa Mesa, CA. After this I worked with Center for Discovery in Newport Beach, where I was a primary therapist and worked with both adolescents and adults who struggled with eating disorders and primary mental health. My most current position is with Sustain Recovery Services, where I work as a primary individual therapist and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) trauma therapist.

            Having worked in residential, outpatient, and private practice settings, has given me a unique ability to offer support, compassion, valuable experience and a healthy relationship where a client can heal and grow in a way that is personalized to them. The focus of my work is providing therapeutic services to adolescent and adult individuals who struggle in areas including addiction, life transitions, anxiety, depression and trauma. I am incredibly passionate about helping clients discover new things about themselves and move towards their most authentic life.

I focus on creating a safe space by establishing mutual respect and trust. My comes from an attachment-based using an integrative approach consisting dynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness, relational approaches, EMDR and sensorimotor psychotherapy.

              Tiffany Goodsite

              Tiffany Goodsite received her Bachelor's of Arts Degree from San Francisco State University in Child Development with a concentration in Youth and Family Services in 2009, then attended graduate school at Notre Dame de Namur University where she graduated in 2013 with a Master's of Science in Clinical Psychology with Marriage and Family Therapy, and received her license as a Marriage & Family Therapist in 2018.

              She began her work in the field of addiction and mental health in 2008, first with the adolescent population, and later began working with adults struggling with mental health and addiction. She takes a multidisciplinary approach when working with adolescents, adults, and families / loved ones, in order to help clients and families solve problems, improve their communication, and work through underlying traumas that contributes to one's substance use, mental health issues, and family dysfunctions. She recognizes the importance of involving the family system in the treatment of her clients but also allows her clients to find their autonomy and purpose as an individual.

                Kyle Carter – RADT I

                Kyle Carter resides in Aliso Viejo, California where he sits in leadership roles on several public service committees, focused on young persons in recovery.  Carter’s professional career began in sales and marketing which lasted for over nine years, most recently with New York Life as a licensed Life Insurance agent.  Carter began his career in substance abuse treatment working as a Care Coordinator at Newport Academy in Orange, CA. Working with young people, Carter was able to utilize his own personal experience with recovery as well as training received from top professionals to advance his career and become a recovery coach. Concurrent to his employment in the treatment field, Carter attended school at Saddleback College earning a certificate of achievement for Drug and Alcohol Studies. Carter’s passion for working with young people in recovery, combined by his training and education working in the industry has led him to collaborate with other respected professionals to build a program bridging the gap between treatment and aftercare. Sustain Recovery was then created as a transitional living program for young adults to provide that level of care needed to sustain long term recovery.

                  Sayeh Seyedfathi

                  Sayeh Seyedfathi is an experienced leader and financial executive with a Bachelor’s of science degree in business management.  She is an energetic, forward-thinking individual with a creative personality. She encompasses high ethical standards and is well-organized, self directed, "politically savvy" and a team player.  She has been an active participant in the public school system as PTA president, Vice President and treasurer.  She has received awards from the PTA and the school community for her leadership and commitment to youth.  She has been involved in the world of recovery since 2009 and is bringing her business talent and desire to help families together to be a part of this revolutionary concept in young people’s recovery.

                    Dr. Eugene Dorsey

                    Medical Director

                    Dr. Dorsey joined Sustain Recovery as its Medical Director after a long career clinical and administrative medicine. He has directed research programs in the pharmaceutical industry, served as Chief of Psychiatry at multiple hospitals and as Medical Director for a large public mental health agency. Dr Dorsey currently practices psychiatry from offices in Laguna Hills, Newport Beach, Santa Ana and Corona, and is Medical Director for another substance abuse program in Costa Mesa. Dorsey is board certified in psychiatry and administrative psychiatry, and is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

                      Sustain Recovery changed my life in a way I never considered remotely possible. I arrived in a place where I knew nobody. Sustain Recovery gave me tools so that I never had to be alone again. I learned how to live like an adult and have genuine relationships with other human beings. I gained a sense of self respect, love, and pride from the challenges I was given by staff. I was able to work through the recent loss of my father and I achieved my goal of not taking any psychiatric medication.
                      I learned that life is an endless balancing act. I have to continually work on myself and my relationships with the people in my life. The staff at Sustain Recovery are all incredibly experienced and spiritual. They were available to me whether I wanted their help or not. Through their efforts and experience, I experienced the inner workings of having an intimate, loving relationship with a loving creator.
                      Sustain Recovery is “home” for me. I discovered a loving, caring family that helped launch me to a place I would have never dreamed and, if I would have dreamed it, I would never have believed I would be able to accomplish it.
